The display unit PYGIMAT is an apparatus entirely designed and manufactured by Gianni Francescutto and Michel Py.
It was manufactured during our spare time at the beginning of the Eighties whereas we were apprentices at Omega Electronics.
This display unit still works today, 20 years after its construction (it's rock solid !)
The control software has been written in assembler language on Commodore C-64. Advertising texts and images could be displayed in real time or according to preliminary programming.
The control software was equipped from the very start with an extension "Lotto-Match". So the display board was rented at various societies in the neighborhood of Biel/Bienne during their Lotto-Match, and this during more than one decade.
